The railway transport steps forward among all transportation systems, for it provides fast, comfortable, timely, reliable, and efficient long-distance hauling. Today, the long-distance transportation has gone beyond the longest distances in any country; it is a transcontinental transportation mode. In crossing the continents via railways in an efficient manner, interoperable routes and logistic centers are determined, and investments are put in rail systems to achieve reliable and fast transportation of passengers and merchandise. Railway industry is changing rapidly not only to improve the strengths of railway transport but also to achieve better service quality over years and meet passenger or customer needs.
The “International Symposium on Electrical Railway Transportation Systems, ERUSIS 2017” will be held on October 27-28, 2017 in Eskisehir, Turkey to provide a discussion medium for the developments in the rail transport. In ERUSIS 2017, scientists and engineers from academia, industry and government will be able to present and share their latest research findings and engineering experiences in railway transportation systems.
Symposium Topics: Research papers and workshop proposals are invited on, but are not limited to, the following topics: Railway Technologies, Railway Infrastructures, Signalization, Human Resources, Test and Certification, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Maintenance and Automation, Simulation, Safety Management System, Energy Modelling and Management.
The symposium will host many representatives of public and private sector companies who provide products and services to the railway sector as well as the representatives of NGOs. Participation by international business representatives and researchers is also expected. The symposium will provide opportunities for cooperation among researchers and corporations. We will be very happy to see you at the ERUSİS 2017 symposium and in Eskisehir.
